See that joint of beef, weighing in at 1.8kg, it took more than 3 hours to roast and still was rare in the middle. Thanks Aziz for the ingredients and thank you Steinunn for eating loads’a gravy filled yorkshire’s and for choosing a funny film, I loved that mad Hawaiian guy and the song at the end. I’ve lost the touch when it comes to roast but next time I will pay more attention to oxo’s instruction ‘and then relax for an hour’.

Note for next time, parsnips need much longer in oven, stop regularly opening oven door for 3 to 4 minutes at a time, buy peas, and don’t eat so much cheese before dinner.
