Two Caravans

Two Caravans by Marina Lewycka. Lewycka vividly writes about the exploitations of eastern european immigrants from the viewpoints of 5 or so main characters. Just as her first book A Short History Of Tractors In Ukrainian was a fun, charming read, Two Caravans out does by with a double portion of wit. The best character in the book has got to be Dog, a border collie, who turns up out of nowhere and saves the day on more than one occassion.
